Electroless Nickel Plating Services

MIP, Inc. offers medium phosphate electroless nickel plating services per the listed specifications.

Electroless nickel plating is a process in which nickel-alloy deposits are applied onto metallic substrates using an auto catalytic immersion process without the use of electric current. A major benefit of this process is the uniformity of coating. MIP uses medium-phosphate nickel solution. Depending on the specified thickness and phosphorous content, electroless nickel plating is an excellent corrosion inhibitor.

Electroless nickel plating is predominantly used for irregular shapes, blind holes, cavities, and highly detailed parts. The finish ranges from matte to bright, depending on the quality of the substrate surface.

Electroless Nickel Plating Capabilities

MIP has a 225-gallon tank on its electroless nickel line. Plating thickness is measured with our in-house XRF x-ray devices or micrometers. We offer basket plating or rack plating.
